What it is
Right of Way & Commercial done the Ironside way
Commercial and public work has tight requirements: airspace limits, DOT guidelines, utility clearances and neighbors on every side. We have done this work for the City of Gastonia, the Town of Cornelius, Gastonia Municipal Airport, Charlotte Douglas International Airport and on an NCDOT project in Hickory.
We also work as a subcontractor for landscapers, tree services and site contractors, opening up right of way, cutting in maintenance access, and clearing frontage so a business can be seen from the road.

Do you work for towns and public agencies?
Yes. Past work includes projects for the City of Gastonia, the Town of Cornelius, Gastonia Municipal Airport, Charlotte Douglas International Airport and an NCDOT project in Hickory.
Can you work as a subcontractor?
Yes. We often work alongside tree services, landscapers and site contractors, handling the mulching and clearing part of a larger job.
Can you keep certain trees to meet DOT guidelines?
Yes. On the Lincoln County Industrial Park frontage we kept select trees at the park's request and to meet DOT guidelines while opening up visibility from Highway 321.
How long are the corridors you can clear?
Anything from a few hundred feet of fence line to a mile or more of highway frontage. We have cleared a 1,000 ft development easement and a mile of road frontage, among others.
